[.ca] Overnight Delivery

From Amazon.com:
In the tradition of meet-cute road films, Overnight Delivery finds two unlikely companions who make a mad dash to stop an overnight delivery. Luminous Reese Witherspoon plays Ivy Miller, an ambitious, hard-working college gal who makes extra money by "flash dancing" at a local joint. Ivy meets devastated Wyatt Trips (Paul Rudd), who believes his girlfriend, Kim, who attends college in the South, is cheating on him. Ivy helps Wyatt write an insulting break-up letter, but when a misunderstanding is revealed, Wyatt and Ivy scramble to stop delivery. This film shares more than a few similarities with 1999's higher-profile Forces of Nature, and while it's no doubt fluffy, and its setups derivative, Witherspoon and Rudd are very likeable. One of the film's notably sweet scenes is between Ivy and a local sheriff, who's fingerprinting her after the duo has been arrested. Overnight Delivery was originally written by the uncredited Kevin Smith, who penned the far hipper Chasing Amy. The film still bears some of Smith's trademark dialogue, even though the tone and look are far removed from his previous efforts. Larry Drake does a fine job as the determined delivery guy. --N.F. Mendoza

nice come out:
Reese Witherpoon(LEgally Blone 1 and 2, Best Laid Plans) meets Paul Rudd(The Cider House Rules and Halloween6: The Curse OF Michael Myers). Rudd wants to breakup with his girlfriend played by Christine Taylor(Zoolander and Campfire Tales)beacause he suspects shes cheating on him, so he sends it out with Larry Drake(Dr. Giggles, Dark Man) who is crazy as hell but Rudd doesnt feel like the letter is right so then him and Witherspoon race against the crazy ass Drake to try to stop him from giving her the letter...inbetween the story the 2 become close and fall for each other at the end..so it turns out better then expected

Witherspoon & Rudd - A Wildly, Funny Romantic Comedy:
What a great movie! If you want to just have a good time, Overnight Delivery will deliver in an evening 87 minutes of pure, fun entertainment. Sit back, relax and enjoy. Reese Witherspoon and Paul Rudd are adorable and have a wonderful chemistry together. You know the guy gets the girl and the girl gets the guy, but how they do it has a lot of clever twists and turns.

Very Nice...:
This is one of the best films I have seen for ages. I think Reese Witherspoon is a really good actress. In this film she plays Ivy. Ivy is working as a stripper but is fired after Wyatt (the male lead) and friends get her fired. He has just discovered his girlfriend Kim is cheating on him and will a little help from Ivy he plots revenge sends her a surprise in the overnight delivery. But when he realises that she isn't cheating on him, he and Ivy have a race against time and the delivery guy to stop the package reaching Kim. The film has everything from a mass murder on the loss to Wyatt playing Tarzan. A very funny well cast romantic comedy.

It's the 1996 Road Trip:
If you enjoyed the movie "Road Trip" then head back to the video store and check out the movie that made that one possible. "Overnight Delivery" throws Paul Rudd and Reese Witherspoon together in a hilarous domino effect of events that only get funnier along the way. The ending is probably what you would expect it to be seeing as it IS a romantic comedy but working your way to the end is the best part of the movie!

Great funny movie!!!:
One of the best romantic and funny movies of the last 10 years! The story is almost the same like the movie Road Trip, only it was made earlier and is much better!
