Should win best blues album of the year: First off, I actually met and talked Paul Geremia, and know him through my guitar teacher. Plus I saw him recienty in consert. He was really excited about this new album, and played most of the songs that were on it. So I kind of knew what to expect. This album is blues purists and fans alike. I hope this wins best blues album of the year. Paul is probably the best acoustic blues musician alive today. What more can I say, get it
Great Acoustic Blues!: If you like the old style acoustic blues, this is the man. Geremia plays acoustic 6 & 12 string guitar (and if I remember correctly a piano tune or two) along with his blues harp. Most songs are Geremia solo, but he has an occasional sideman joining him. He is an excellent guitarist and has a great voice for the blues! After years of purchasing books and CDs from amazon, I've never had the urge to write a review until hearing this guy. Great stuff!
