[.ca] Dis/Location

not what I expected but not bad.:
I recently bought this album which makes this one of two 7m3 cd's that i own, the other being american standard. I guess i was expecting the same sound as american standard with better lyrics. Well, The lyrics are better the sound is definately different but good. Really good actually. This one will probably follow me from my home to my car for a while.

They thew away the growlish vocals and thew some blues:
rock in the mix and did a damn fine job of it. Seven mary three has come along way with having a successful hit single wich really ruined there carreer, you mite have heard it Cumbersome. A lot of people refer to it as the cucumber song now, because it was played out so much. People began to make fun of it. Everything else Seven mary three put out was so different and better than there debut, people kinda brushed i off that the band even still existed. It's a shame that they're kinda known as the cumber some band. Although, this is a great cd, unless they put out Blue letter or where are you calling from as single, then the band mite have to get 2nd day jobs to pay the bills.

Soild Record From A Great Band That Too Few Notice:
DIS/LOCATION might be the follow up to American Standard that everyone was screaming for 10 years ago. So if you haven't been a fan of 7M3 since Rockcrown (which is an amazing record along with all of their others) this album could be the one to get you back in the 7M3 Fan Club. Jason Ross has turned back on the distortion and said hello to new guitarist and songwriter Thomas Juliano; all without losing any of what has made 7M3 a better band since American Standard. "Without You Feels", "Made to be Broken", and "Oceans of Envy" would all get airplay if radio stations would give them a chance. And if you are looking for the grit and rock of the American Standard 7M3, look no farther than "Settle Up", "Bark No Bite" or "Dislocation" After a couple of listen you will also begin to appreciate "Where Are You Calling From?' and "Subway Tunnel Microphones." All the above being said...don't expect to hear American Standard. DIS/LOCATION is a much better, more balanced, and more mature record than that. I think anyone who gives it a chance will love it.

Best up and Coming Band:
Seven Mary Three is one of the best and latest up and coming bands that is sure to hit it big time really soon. This new album " Dis/Location" is a compilation of solid hard beating sounds that is sure to attract the newest of audiences, as well as excite those already fans. Definately would recommend it.

7M3 What can i say?:
if you don't have this album. well go get it now! this really one of the best albums released this year. all the 11 songs on this album are great. the lyrics are wonderful. this is what more people should listen to. they are back after a long but short break. and it was woth it!
