Who is this grrrrl????:
My girlfriend gave me this for xmas, the first song rocked my world, Less of Me. This girl can play and write a tune that breaks your heart to be sure. You hear some Lenard Cohen influences in there and just strong song writing like Sarah Harmer, even reminds me of Sarah McLachlan. There is a song called winnipeg, it must be destined as a canadian classic, it's funny/beautiful/sweet. If this is her 1st CD I am damn impressed, can't find any others on amazon. Five stars for sure, sweet sweet sound.

Great New Artist:
A new, refreshing and truely passionate artist. My wife and I never tire of listening to this cd. We have had it for over a year and have given several others as gifts. I would highly recommend this album, you will not be disappointed.

Jillian Horton is H-O-T!:
Jillian's sultry voice will send shivers down your spine. I listen to her CD when I go to sleep at night. It gives me wonderful dreams. A talented new Canadian artist.

Outstanding:
I heard an interview with Jillian Horton on CBC weeks ago but foolishly never wrote down her name. I finally figured out who it was and hastened to buy a copy of the cd by the woman who had moved me so during the interview. She was funny and charming and sang terrific songs which she wrote herself. Listening to the complete cd confirms all that I heard in the interview. Her piano playing is tremendous. The song writing is ridiculously good. Her voice is clear and tender and touching. Here is a talent who needs to be discovered by anyone who appreciates good music. Listen to this!!!

First-rate first release:
It's hard to believe that Horton is not a seasoned pro. Her first release is remarkably mature and her piano technique is admirable. This CD grows on me more and more with each listen.
