[.ca] Markus Schulz: Miami 2005

Absolute Bliss:
Markus Schulz is yet to dissapoint, especially with Miami 05. Miami 05 is a a great sequel to Coldharbour Sessions 2004. The beautiful melodies, lush chords, and deep feel send the listener in perpetual bliss. Markus is the next big thing and with his radio show GDJB growing at a staggering rate he is bound to make DJ MAG's top 10 this year. Markus has a deeper more calmer feel towards music and thats what got people turning heads! This CD is absolutely spectacular. If you enjoyed Coldharbour Sessions 2004 you'll absolutely love this one too! Miami 05 is Colharbour Sessions 2004 continued with a Miami feel to it instead of the London feel.

A move in the right direction:
Markus Schulz is taking trance scene by storm. His progressive touch in his live sets are reflected in Miami 05. The selected tracks and transitions are completely flawless. As the drum beat gets you jumping, it reflects what an actual trance event is like. The slow intro mixes Blue Tubes and Fanatic, which give a great start to both CD's. With the odd vocal track thrown into the first cd, it isn't filled with the uplifting trance feel that many other artists prefer (Armin van Buuren, Tiesto to name a few), but rather sticks to the deep basslines which is a welcoming change. For those who haven't gone to see how Markus Schulz's set gets a dancefloor moving, this album will make you want to go.
