Phew! All that pressure...:
Good news- Lisa Shaw's long anticipated album is definitely not a disappointment. However, Naked Music devotees may find it has a touch more R & B to it than their other offerings- with the exception of Gaelle's "Transient" album. There are some great tracks here - "Let It Ride" of course, the slow version of "Always", "Cherry", the first single, etc. This album is very laid back, not as upbeat as people might expect, but it is a solid album. I've only listened through it once, but I am sure that it will grow on me, as all the other Naked Music Divas solo efforts have. A perfect disc to go with a glass of wine and good conversation.
