Not the best, still worth buying !:
For those who are familiar with a-ha's story, this album is the logical continuity of their work. Pal's guitar is somewhat more present then before & Magne's participation in the creative process is more appearant and appreciated. Morten's voice is really at it's best right now. Good rock with soft melodies. Not the best of A-ha, but worth buying. For those of you who want to appreciate a-ha at their best or learn more about their song writing abilities, I really recommend the early album : SCOUNDREL DAYS & the newer album LIFELINES. Those two albums are "must" have. ATTENTION : The bonus DVD is encoded in PAL. Meaning that it will not play in North American DVD players. Unless you have a multi-zone dvd player. You will be able to view it though on your computer if you adjust your DVD sorftware to Zone 2 PAL.
Fantastic:
Perhaps a-ha's finest effort. Magne and Morten contribute far more than the usual in the writing of this CD. The CD includes the European hit "Celice" and 4 or 5 other songs have the potential to be big hits as well. Title song Änalogue and Holy Ground find a-ha at there best. Highly recommended.
