This is just as wonderful as volume one. A terrific improvement is the addition of a 'play all' option on each disc (which was sorely missing from volume one. Child is at her hilarious best here! The Buche de Noel has many minor disasters - the eggs fly in every direction - the vegetables are chopped and then whisked off the edge of the cutting board. Always funny and always honest. Beyond the differences in style (eveything glopped liberally with sauces, rich with butter), the food is all possible, and all could and should be cooked. The chance to watch a master cooking is amazing. When you've seen the "Cake in a Cage" you will want very much to make one soon. If you have any affection for Julia or the PBS cooking shows, you should waste no time in including Julia Child Volume Two in your collection.
