The Film Familia:
This movie was quite interesting but it was not a topic that I have not seen in movies before. The story line of Michele who is a gambler, with a teenage daughter named Marquerite, is very irresponsible with money and continuously borrows it from people until it catches up with her and she is forced to leave and visit her mother whom she asks for more money and a place to stay. After an uncomfortable sexual encounter with her step father she abruptly leaves and heads to her sister in law Janine's house where she and her daughter are taken in. Janine is apprehensive about allowing Michele into her home because of the lifestyle that she lives.Janine is a lonely housewife and interior designer who lives in her own world of imaginary perfection. Janine begins to see the life of her oldest child Gabrielle take a change for the worst and blames it on Marquerite. Janine is completely unaware of the fact that her daughter's life was heading down the wrong path without the help of Marquerite because Gabrielle frequents sex chat rooms and engages in conversations with people over the computer. The movie unfolds with Michele coinuing her gambling ways,Janine discovers that her husband who is constantly out of town on business is having and affair with one of her clients,Marquerite discovers she is pregnant after attending a party with Gabrielle where she was drugged and raped. The movie is all around good but I did not care for the abrupt ending; that is why I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5. The lives of the characters have no apperent solution you just have to imagine for yourself what happens. The only character that has somewhat of a solution is Marquerite with her pregnancy where they show her receiving an abortion. I would have liked to see the lives of these characters come to some conclusion but I still would recommend this movie for viewing.

Good Movie:
A compulsive gambler named Michele and her teenage daughter Marquerite open this movie. Michele is an irresposible parent who continually borrows money from people without paying it back this forces her to flee her home with her daughter and her boyfriend who is also her boss whom she owes money too. She leaves to visit her mother and asks for more money along with a place to stay, she is forced to leave because of a sexual encouter with her step father which makes her situation there uncomfortable. She leaves and heads to the only place she can which is her sister in law Janine's house. Janine is a lonely stay at home mother and interior designer who lives in her own imaginary world of perfection. She is apprehensive about allowing Michele into her home because of her lifestyle. Janine's worst fears come true when she sees what she believes is the affect that Marquerite is having on her daughter Gabrielle. Janine is unaware that Gabrielle's life was headed in the wrong direction before Marquerite came along because she frequents sex chat rooms on her computer. The story continues with the lives of these two women and these two young girls unfolding. Michele continues her responsible behavior,Janine discovers that her husband who is out of town on business is having an affair with one of her clients, Marquerite discovers that she is pregnant after attending a party with Gabrielle where she is drugged and raped and Gabrielle and her mother's relationship is dwindling because of her mother's controlling ways and the need for everything to appear perfect all the time. The movie is good but the conclusion is pretty abrupt there is no detail into the conclusion of these character's lives you are left to decide for yourself what happens. I greatly recommend this movie.
