Let me start by saying this: These are not beginner workouts! These are excellent workouts for those intermediate exercisers (like me) who find most dvd workouts not challenging enough. I had grown bored with my other workouts; I was no longer pushing myself or seeing any results. This dvd changed that. In fact, the first time I tried the strength-training circuit, I had to stop halfway through! All three workouts are great; you really do get a whole-body workout (unlike those dvds that only claim to give you that). If you've tried and enjoyed other boot-camp workouts such as Crunch boot-camp training with Sue Hitzmann (excellent for beginners looking for a challenge), then you will love these workouts.


Great Title But The Buck Stops There...:
I am consider myself in good health: BMI within healthy range, able to do med to high intensity aerobics for about 30-40 minutes, and I do not have any serious health issues. I was looking for good aerobics workout for weight loss and toning. Here is my pet peeves with this exercise program: 1. Loud & Blaring Music --- it was distracting, annoying and gave me headache --- BTW, I love upbeat music just not this rubbish. 2. Instructors's Tempo --- too fast and no emphasis on proper form of the exercises to the viewer --- I found that nearly impossible and very frustrating trying to keep up. 3. Exercises --- very jerky and the instructors quickly jumped from one exercise to another which did not allow me the time to pick up the steps. After 10 minutes listening to the distracting music and attempting to keep up, without pulling any muscles, I realized this was not the DVD for me. I believe too little thought was given to the audience and their needs ---it appears more emphasis was placed on the instructors jumpimg/pumping at crazy speed with them shouting encouragement to keep going. Not good and I certainly am not that crazy to push that hard to an unrealistic tempo. Luckily, I purchased several other types of exercise programs ---- pilate/yoga for toning, shaping and cardio which did give me a high intensity muscle workout without jerky movements. I felt the burn and noticed the toning and body strength in less than a week. And the best part, I love doing them every day! This DVD has been filed under "G".
