Awesome golf game - even better than the 08 version:
I am very picky about golf games, being an avid golfer in real life. And I was frustrated at first with the swing controls in Tiger 07...until I got the hang of it. Then, I realized this is the best golf game ever made. The graphics are top notch, and the presentation is way better than in the 08 demo I played. It takes practice to get better (just as in real life) and the amazing development of your own golfer (if you choose the awesome career mode) is really rewarding. I can't say enough good things about this game, and it's the one I keep coming back to almost nightly. I still haven't made a cut on the PGA Tour but I came close with a 75 on Thursday before blowing it with an 83 on Friday. And it was my own 'yips' on the tee box and on the green, plus one rash decision that cost me my first weekend and the possibility of a big payday. That's what makes this so addictive! So I go back to one of the many cool practice modes/games, or enter the Tiger Match Play challenge to try and level up my golfer before hitting Firestone tomorrow. 6 stars out of 5, and one of the cheapest PS3 titles currently on store shelves.
