[.ca] Monkey Warfare

Well done indie film:
I really enjoyed this movie. Right from the start, it sets the tone of Dan and Linda's in-a-rut relationship. Then Dan meets a cute young weed dealer (who has access to some quality BC bud) and she's attracted to him by his well-spoken tirades against the Man and sexy handlebar mustache. Most of the movie is about the development of their relationship, and Linda's later involvement. There's a lot of tension - I found myself waiting for something to explode. Ultimately Monkey Warfare has a few things to say about life, beliefs, trying to change the world, and friendships. I'd recommend it to anyone who's even thought of wearing a Che T-shirt (did you know that Che started that trend?). Ride bikes!
