[.ca] Ghost in the Shell: Solid State Society (Regular Edition)

Perfect sequel for ghost in the shell tv series:
Because it was in OVA format some people may have found it a little bit boring or too fast. What's even more, they would compare this one with the original ghost in the shell movie series. But the tv series and the movie series are entirely different ones so they shouldn't really be compared with each one another about quality, story, etc. In my point of view this OVA is a great sequel to the ghost in the shell tv series, in regard to the storyline. Some might complain about the lack of 'action' scenes, but actually there was more than enough suspension and dynamic action. Maybe we can hope for another sequel to it?

This is a pathetic movie.:
Before the title of the movie is shown, there is about 5 minutes of film showing the introduction scene. The music is beautiful, and the characters are nice, so far so good. Then a few minutes later we see things start to get a bit silly. There are machines that help Batto, and the Section 9 crew, and they look like bugs, and they roll on small wheels, and their voices sound like 8 year old kids who are typing on a age specific messageboard. The scenes that look more serious are still frames with a LOT of talk. Not much animation, not much movement or things that look cool being animated, but a lot of talk mixed in with still frames. Then it gets really silly at the end of the movie. The bug machines, talking happily are pursued by guards that look like they are goatmen, with hooves and a mohawk while wearing cool gee whiz sunglasses. There's a lot of unbelievable acrobatics with childlike scenery and chatter. Then in the final 10 minutes we see some cool animation, and more talk. Lots and lots of talk all while showing some basic but cool looking gif like animation. Summary. This movie is so silly. It's not 1 tenth of the quality of Ghost in the Shell Innocence. The animation style looks plain. The characters look wrong. Batto is a different character than he was in previous movies, I mean he looks very plastic like a doll. The way the characters move looks wrong. Remember when plastic guns looked real ? And the police asked the toy makers to make them look unreal, now they look like alin ray guns that are orange and are obviously toys. The same thing happened with Ghost in the Shell. It's become something very different from what it began as.

I loved that movie:
The animation is great and the story too, major returns and she is hot. Great action
