How Big is the Cancer?

Doctors measure cancers in centimeters (cm). The size of the cancer helps to determine its stage. Size doesn't tell the whole story. Lymph node status is also important. A small cancer can be very fastgrowing. A larger cancer can be a "gentle giant."
