When most people are looking for a good, basic, 35-to-1 (or "E.P.A. Exempt") wood stove, they have to settle for a stove that "heats a lot less than it eats" as far as fuel consumption is concerned. And most of these stoves don't have an attractive flame when they burn, either. With this stove, we've entirely changed the way people will think about all of that. Not only is this model a nice entry-level wood stove, heating up to 1,000 sq. ft. and taking logs up to 18 In. long; it is designed so that it burns with "the look of a fireplace," with a beautiful flame pattern (so beautiful, in fact, that we applied for a pat. pend. when it went on the market).
