The foliage is feathery, very finely-cut, and glistens a rich silvery-green in the garden. The blooms surround the thin stems like a steel-blue cloud from midsummer to fall. The 3- to 4-foot plant is nicely rounded and densely-branched, creating an elegant, weightless effect in the garden. This delicate-looking plant is super-hardy almost everywhere in the contiguous U.S., and doesn't mind dry soil! Situate Filigran in full sun and in well-drained to dry soil. Zones 3-9.
