Buxus Sempervirens 'Suffruticosa'

English Boxwood is the classic evergreen shrub for low, formal hedges and foundation and landscaping accents. Its dense, deer- and pest-resistant foliage is glossy and evergreen, lending interest to the garden and containers in every season. It grows slowly into a pleasing rounded shape, reducing the need for regular pruning or shaping. Suffruticosa is particularly resistant to box leaf miner. It reaches 2 to 3 feet tall and wide and makes a great edging along paths or a formal, low-growing boundary for flower, herb, and kitchen gardens. Grow in full sun to partial shade in well-drained soil, and space 2 feet apart.
