Lastra 8 Rectangular Pendant Light

Design by Antonio Citterio with Oliver Löw 1998 Suspension fixture providing direct light. Lamp body formed by a rectangular .6" transparent tempered glass sheet. 8 pressed glass diffusers with high-temperature resistant white finish. Injection-molded transparent polycarbonate (UL-94 V2) diffuser support and white PPS (UL-94 VO) lamp holder. Aluminum attachment grid. Power is distributed to the light sources through two silkscreening processes: deposition of a highly conductive silver paste, followed by deposition of a protective ceramic paint. Electronic transformer secured to sheet. 4 steel suspension cables and 4 mechanical, die-cast, polished aluminum ceiling fittings, with built in quick adjustment cord. 30% fiberglass reinforced polyamide (UL-94 V2) wired ceiling fitting; painted grey, injection molded poylcarbonate (UL-94 V2) canopy. Dimensions 47.2"L X 19.7"W, fixture is equipped with 16 feet of cable and wire that can be field shortened. Uses 8 X 35W 12V MR-11 halogen lamps (inlcuded).
