This cold frame automatic opener works for the Juwel 1000 Basic Unit and 1000 Extension Unit. Special jelly in the black cylinder responds to inside temperatures to automatically open and close the top panels without electricity. Arm raises at 67 degrees F. Raises up to 12lbs, with it fully open at 17 in.
