A Tree is a Plant: My favorite part of the book is the root. I lerned that if the tree did have root it would die. I would recommend this book because it is a good book.
My preschooler loves this book: This book is an excellent introduction to the life cycle of trees. My three year old had never made the connection between tiny seeds and huge trees. Upon reading this book, he began to tell everyone he met about what he learned. The book uses the example of an apple tree to explain different characteristics of trees and plants, and it just so happens that we have an apple tree down the road from our house. My son was so excited to see the real life presentation of the concepts he had seen in the book! We love all of the level one books in this series and I'll definitely be purchasing more to build up our library.
Amazon 2 day shipping: yeah right: So I ordered this for my formal observation in student teaching. I ordered it on a Tuesday.... paid an extra 13 dollars for 2 days shipping and my book got there a week later.... a day after my formal observation. If you are going to advertise that it will be there within 2 days unless the weekend interferes maybe you should get the book to someone within 2 days.... I feel amazon owes my my shipping fees back.
A Tree is a plant: I recommend this book because it is about plantin and trees and seeds.
A Tree is a Plant: I would recommend this book because I think it would teach kids something new and they could enjoy the good illistrations.I like this book because it tells the life of the tree in the most perfect way.
