We follow Schnitzel through delightful antics and get some cameos of other dogs from Lynley Dodd's books until the dachshund chases a cat up a tree. But everyone knows that dogs can not climb trees. Once again Lynley Dodd uses lyrical language and rhyming patters combined with delightful illustrations to tell the tale of another unusual canine. Having had a dachshund I was delighted to see that Schnitzel von Krumm with th every low tum had a book all to himself. After a dozen books from the author I am happy to say that each new title I find is as delightful and fun as the rest. And my kids, of course, agree all the way.
