Questions From Earth, Answers From Heaven: A Psychic ... (ISBN 0312975147)

Amazon.com Review:
Witty and winning, celebrity psychic Char Margolis tells it like it is on the subject of talking to the dead for a living. Margolis wrote Questions from Earth, Answers from Heaven to help people "awaken their own instinctive intuitive abilities," which they can use as a guide to what she terms "the Age of Awareness," the upcoming shift from a material world to a spiritual one. She warns people away from psychic hotlines in the hope that readers will be convinced to develop their own powers. According to Margolis, the five reasons to use your own intuition are: 1) Intuition helps us prepare for the future and eliminate worry. 2) Intuition allows us to help others, especially our loved ones. 3) Intuition lets us know when we're in sync with the universe. 4) Intuition teaches us to trust our own inner wisdom. And, 5) Intuition helps us to grow and develop as souls. If this sounds like reason enough for you, Questions from Earth will help you tune into answers from heaven to your most heartfelt queries. --Randall Cohan

This book is exceptional!:
I have thoroughly enjoyed this book! It is VERY readable, extremely interesting, and has VERY useful material for developing your own intuitiveness, and keeping yourself safe while doing so. I highly recommend this book to anyone trying to develop their intuition, as well as to people who are interested in psychics in general. I'm off to try to find another book by this author to order; very pleased!

Kind of Depressing....:
I would have to agree with others on several things: the title is very misleading, I felt like she was trying to sell us on her services more than give practical wisdom, her personality comes through several times in this book as being slightly agressive in her opinions/overly opinionated, & it felt like she was shoving her ideas in my face. I was truly disgusted to say the least about this book. She mentions many questions throughout her book then never provides the answers to those questions. She jumps around alot & the book just seemed to be a mess altogether. I read these books on the afterlife because I like to feel a little inspired I guess is the word. Well she did not inspire me. Being intuitive myself she comes through a being a negative person that looks down on life instead of being more positive. I felt it all throughout her book. It's like I felt like she was saying I am right & everyone else is wrong. Then she tells you that you should trust your own instincts not that of a psychic. Well Char, I agree with that statement 100% which is what I am asking everyone else to do before they read her book. She says she is all about helping people throughout this book & not about the money. Well I went on her website & $600 for a reading seems like someone that is only motivated by money. To me that is not reasonable rate for the average person to pay when you don't even know if she is really any good to begin with. You pay $600 for a reading & if she isn't good well you lose a pretty big chunk of money. If she was really interested in helping people she would really lower her rates so more people can afford a reading. Use your instincts on this please pass on her. For a more inspiring book pick up something from James Van Praagh, George Anderson, Brian Weiss, or Joel Osteen.

Great Intutive Advice for Beginners:
This is a great book for beginners discovering their ability to be intuitive. Although the book consolidates the intuitive process in approximatley 6 chapters, the other information is informative and resourceful. Additionally, there are a few great exercises for those practicing to use their intuition. I would definitely read it again if I had to, besides it will remain on my self for a very long time.

Great Book:
I loved reading this book. I learned many new things. I would highly recommend this book.

Ghosted:
The writing is ghosted, not the subject. Char may be the real thing, but the overly labored ghost writing kills any real feeling of sincerity.
