A must Read for any alternative healthcare provider:
I've just recently started building an acupuncture practice in a new city and I wanted some fresh ideas on marketing. I'm doing well but I'd like to do better and I HATE marketing. This book should be in all acupuncture schools. I'd love it if they would do a marketing seminar with this woman. Many of these ideas are easy to implement. Some of them are a small turn of phrase from those things you learn from other marketing books, but suddenly they become much more appropriate to say to your patients. I'm recommending this to everyone I know.

Great book!:
As a new counselor, I was looking for something that could instruct me in setting up a private practice and this was it. I also bought the workbook that goes with it. This book takes you through all the steps, beginning with identifying what you want, mission and vision statements and how you want your business to look and function...from a counselor's perspective. There are other books out there that tell you how to set up businesses, but this is from one counselor to another and the perspective makes all the difference. I recommend this book highly to anyone who is just starting out in practice or is seeking to expand their practice.
