Not a fan---Better versions out there to be found!:
Oh, I was disappointed with this retelling. It's very bland, not at all what I'd hoped for... Flat, emotionless, and poorly developed. There are much better fairy tales for this age group out there, many with simultaneous Spanish language text. I don't think Little Mermaid is in the series, but a much better bet for fairy tales for this age-group (also with many Spanish language versions) is from School Specialty Publishing (sometimes noted as "Brighter Child").
