Very useful: Whether you've been a traditionalist since the 60s or whether you just feel like going to a Tridentine Mass once in a while this directory can be useful to you. It lists places where you can find the Mass of the ages state by state and Canada and some Eupopean spots. Father Morrison lists masses celebrated in the diocese (with the local bishop's permission) masses celebrated by independents (parishes that decided to strike out on their own and have the Tridientine Mass whether the bishop likes it or not) the SSPX (say what you want about them, but there would probably be no indult if they weren't around) the SSPV and a CMRI, a sedevacanist group. The directory also lists traditional seminaries, convents, monasteries, schoools and lay organizations. For the curious and the committed this guide is a great thing.
Subsequent Editions Are in eBook Form Only: The Official Traditional Catholic Directory since this 2006 edition has been issued only in eBook form, available at www.traditio.com/nat.htm, in monthly update editions. This indispensible E-book, in the universal and free Adobe Acrobat PDF format, includes the only complete list, by sponsoring organization, of the approximately 600 Traditional Catholic Latin Masses in the perpetually approved pre-Vatican II Roman Rite, regularly and publicly celebrated in North America, as well as contacts for Mass sites outside North America. It also includes a list of traditional Catholic periodicals, suppliers, organizations, seminaries, religious orders, lay societies, retreats, schooling, and a necrology of traditional Catholic priests.
