Castro Valley Book:
This is a phenomenal book! I highly recommend it, for residents of Castro Valley, as well as the surrounding areas! I have a lot of books from the "Images of America" series that Arcadia put out, and I thought the East Bay Area had been pretty well covered, but I just picked up my copy of "Castro Valley," and read it from cover to cover without putting it down! For residents, there are plenty of familiar places and names, but there's a lot of pictures and stories that I've never even heard before. But even if you don't live in Castro Valley, it's an interesting, very informative look at suburban towns in general, and tells a lot about the East Bay area's development. I highly reccommend it!

I lived in this city for a short time and love the area. Quaint little town Always something to do their. Friendly atmospher and lots of hills to walk up and down.
