It's very effective for my son. Note that this book assumes you know the basics and pushes you to achieve higher scores. So, use this book two weeks before you take the exam. You can find something better:
I bought this exercise book for my son. I let him do the test by himself and then we go over it together. He keeps complaining all the answers are next to the questions. (It's just right in front of his face). It's loss challenge for him. I have to buy him another book. We prefer the answer print at the back of the book.
