Helpful and Interesting: The author is not a medical practitioner, but she does share with the reader her own experiences with the various natural approaches to alleviating joint pain. The book helped me realize I'd have to be responsible for my healing and figure out what works for me and what doesn't. I think it's important to check with the experts regarding medical advice, but I found her information a good source of ideas worth researching further. My wrist pain was initially misdiagnosed as rheumatoid arthritis (due to a mix up with the blood work), which is why I picked up this book. Although we eventually discovered the mistake the physician had made and I was correctly diagnosed with carpal tunnel syndrome, I still found the information in this book helpful.
