Maybe You Had To Have Been There: The reason for this review is to assure anyone who reads this book that there are other works by Marcel well worth their time. Creative Fidelity was a real surprise to me: rambling, disjointed, and obviously written for an audience already well familiar with Marcel's concerns. This book appeared to me to be primarily directed at Catholic clerics, with Marcel's focus being to explain his own "take" on questions of mutual interest. This book starkly contrasts with Existentialism and with Tragic Wisdom, both of which I highly recommend. They have all the things this book lacks: clarity, coherency, and accessibility. I recommend both of those volumes; I do not recommend this book.
