Excellent resource albeit a little repetitive:
I really appreciated this book, since it's on a topic few have deigned to cover and it provided many useful (although not necessarily inconspicuous) insights regarding the Hebrew Bible when looked at through the hermeneutic lens of process theology. At times, as already implied, Gnuse will state the obvious to anyone with a basic knowledge of process categories, and he has a penchant for reiterating the same themes throughout, but it's still helpful in many ways to consult this thoughtful distillation of the various ways in which process categories illuminate much of what has been lost or obscured in and by conventional systematic theologies. Also Gnuse demonstrates how process categories may provide the means of resurrecting a meaningful yet critical Biblical theology.
