I love this Bible:
I own many different study Bibles in many different versions. Each one has a different focus. I find the focus of the "Every Man's Bible" extremely important for today's man. We need to better understand what Goad intended when He created man. This Bible speaks directly to the many issues and challenges that directly impact men. I will be using this Bible with my boys as I workto teach them how to be godly men. I love the NLV; it is very easy to read and is a good compliment to the NIV. There are many extras features that are wonderful for deeper study. I especially enjoy the "Someone You Should Know" feature. This Bible was well worth the purchase price.

First time I've Ever read the Bible!:
Wow, what an amazing way to read the bible. I've never read the Bible because I have no background with religion and this book allowed me to come in with a clean slate and actually understand what I am reading! I would highly recommend this for beginners!

Every Man's Bible:
The constuction of the Bible is very poor. I bought the Bible for a birthday gift for my son in Iowa, I live in NY. He opened the wrapper and the pages started falling out of the book. I wish that I had opened the book I would have sent it right back.

The NLT is easy to read and is the same translation my pastor uses so I can easily follow along on Sunday mornings. Because of the amount of additional information, you may miss the mesaage but just opening a Bible on any day but Sunday is a victory.
