I finally gave Gemma Halliday's books a try - the first and only so far (but hopefully not for long) was UNDERCOVER IN HIGH HILLS. I couldn't stop reading it until I was done with it. Fun characters and plot. I'd recommend this book to anyone who enjoys reading a book with romance, action and funny parts. If you haven't read a Gemma Halliday book you should pick one up and read it. You'll love it!

I have read all of the Gemma Halliday books in the Maddie Springer series and can enthusiastically recommend them all. I think it is worth reading the books in order (there are only four so far), although I will say that Undercover in High Heels has been my favorite. I am hoping that over time Ms. Halliday will be as prolific as Janet Evanovich in her Stephanie Plum series. The Maddie Springer murder/mysteries are well paced. I am not surprised that a TV series is in the works because the characters are very engaging and the storylines are hip and fun.
Easy Read!:
This is a great new series. This is a fun mystery book that has relatable characters. I read this book in 4 days and couldn't wait to get to the next story. These aren't serious mystery stories but there are great twists and turns.
A Fun Little Romp!:
This is a fun, quick read. Gemma Halliday writes quite well, and it's easy to see the story through her words.
