a keeper: I loved this book. It had lots of adventure, it was funny and a clean romance. I couldn't put it down. This is a must to buy and read. You won't be sorry.
Visions of Ransom Lake: What can I say? I a sucker for Marcia McClure romances. This one was in the country and had some cowboy suspense! No one could resist this one.
More of the same: This is the 6th or 7th Marcia Lynn McClure book that I have read. Unfortunately, I have to say that I was disappointed after reading this one. Marcia's books are all starting to look the same--the names are different but the people and inner conflicts are the same. Does the lead male always have to be incredibly good looking? Does the lead female always have gorgeous and completely ignorant of it? What about the story lines being all to similar? The main inner conflict in her books revolves around the female being insecure in her love--"how could he possibly ever love me". This was ok in the first several books, but finally enough is enough. . On a positive note--I do appreciate her books being clean and smut-free.
I am starting to see a pattern here: I have to agree with a previous reviewer. I love Marcia Lynn Mcclure books, she quickly became one of my favorite authors. After having read most of her books, I have to say they are all basically the same. I am fine with everyone being beautiful, but why do the lead characters all have the same feelings? I will keep reading her books, but they arent' as fun as what they used to be. Some of the main female characters cry too much for my liking aswell...I prefer them to be stronger.
Action, Adventure, Romance--all rolled into one story!: When I want a romance story, I want more then just fluff. I want action, adventure, surprise, plot twists....and I get all of this when I read a Marcia McClure romance story. I am never disappointed, and again "Visions of Ransom Lake" holds up to this standard set by Marcia McClure. Bravo! Thank you for a well written story that captured my attention and delighted my senses.
