know yourself!:
Rebeccasreads recommends CLIMB EVERY OBSTACLE as a "non-denominational" book of 101 opportunities from Anger to Worry, to ponder on. Comes with quotations from both past & present well-known thinkers, writers, poets & such plus a few from old Anonymous. What Anita Jefferson has to teach is simply understood & easily processed. It will bring comfort & insight to just about anyone, especially when faced with troubling attitudes, seemingly insurmountable problems or mind-numbing dead-ends -- either from within or from outside. While it is in need of proofreading, that doesn't detract from its content.

Overcoming the odds...:
There's no doubt about it, we all have issues, in one form or another. We have life situations which get us down, personal afflictions, professional qualms, physical limitations and more. The list is endless, but with the right guidance, it is possible to get up, get over, and move on past these obstacles. In CLIMB EVERY OBSTACLE: Eliminate Your Limits by Anita Jefferson, she expounds upon 101 obstacles and how to overcome them. Spanning the alphabet from A to Z, she covers items such as anger, attitude, change, doubt, frustration, jealousy, power, setbacks and worry. She opens each identified obstacle with a quote or proverb and then goes on to explain exactly what it means, how to determine the source, acknowledge it, and then what to do to overcome it. She concludes with closing exercises and an "Opportunity Step" as a way to motivate or affirm what was learned in the section. I really enjoyed CLIMB EVERY OBSTACLE and will continue to use it as a guide for understanding the issues of life and how to view them as opportunities to learn more about myself and to grow into a stronger person. Though it needs a bit of proofreading, this book is enlightening, empowering, and much needed to counter the stresses of life. Reviewed by Tee C. Royal of The RAWSISTAZ Reviewers

Don't build a house on sand.:
I have always maintained that it is senseless taking personal growth courses and reading self-help books if something is blocking that development. Finally, a book has arrived that has codified over a hundred potential blocks to growth. "Climb Every Obstacle" can help anyone identify what may be standing in the way of happiness and fulfillment. The author (Anita Jefferson) includes stories, formulae, and commentary to challenge the reader's mind and push boundaries. It can be read on a superficial level to simply gain perspective, or it can be digested and absorbed to greater depths to act as a catalyst for substantive change. Brian E. Walsh PhD, author of "Unleashing Your Brilliance."

An informative guide to overcoming over one-hundred featured obstacles to self fulfillment:
