Sermon: I have to agree with "gorgegirl's" review. The book is a sermon. The book is very short, the last half of the book is a reprint of some scriptures and the Book of Revelations (which is always a good thing but if you have a copy of the Holy Bible then you already have a copy of the book of Revelations). The biggest thing I noticed in this book is that it sounded just like a sermon; no science, no information on modern policies/politics, no connections, just various scripture and personal venting about pollution, global poverty and immorality. I normally don't write reviews on books because I know how poorly I write, but this book is not what I expected. It would be an OK book to give someone that may need a sermon (don't we all) but not someone that wants to review interpretations of Revelations and make connections to how it is playing into the modern world. I would suggest 'Red Moon Rising' and a book I read a few years ago (amazing connections to modern politics and things happening in Europe). It is not as current now since politics change but the author's family maintains a good website with current events, the book's title is "Recommendation 666". However, even though politics do change, the main person the author of Recommendation 666 discusses, has a great deal of 'behind the scenes' power; then and now.
Apocalypse: Apocalypse Soon I could find nothing interesting about this book. It was reasonably priced and a good thing because it went in the round file half way through. No science, no politics just a sermon. Apocalypse
I would recommend others to read this: I believe this was a good book to read . It reminds us to be reading the Bible and know the truth. It points out the New Age and how dangerous that can be. We need to be aware of these things. I believe it would be helpful for others to read to remind them that the Bible is the truth and we need to not stray away from that. I do find many interesting things happening in our country. I do pay alot more attention to the events and how it relates to end times and believe we are coming into our end times due to many things relating to homosexuality, earthquakes, sexuality, storms. We should all be reminded of how we so need to be in the Word and in the truth and praying for those who may not know their Savior. I found this book worth mentioning to others to keep them on the right track. Even if it is a sermon it is a sermon to be heard again.
Apocalypse Sooner Than You Think: I have heard Patrick Heron on Coast to Coast AM with George Noory and think he is one of the most interesting guests to have ever been on the program. The Bible says over and over again "I would not have you to be ignorant.........". Unfortunately we are living in a great time of Biblical ignorance because people are not reading the Bible for themselves. Therefore I think that like the people who were living in the time of the flood, events that are soon to come to pass upon this planet will take the majority of people unawares. I don't need to post all of the signs enumerated in the Bible, or in this book. Read the book and you will be very informed as to God's plan to bring this age to a close.
An Excellent Read: Apocalypse Soon is a fantastic book for those who are starting off and don't know a lot about End Times prophecies or the revelations of the Apocalypse. It is very concise and easy to read for any who want a quick understanding of what lies in store for this world in the near future. This book is perfect for teenagers or for non Christians who want to know what the Book of Revelation is all about but don't want a tome. I read The Nephilim and the Pyramid of the Apocalypse by the same author. It is a masterpiece. I fully endorse this book. Five stars. The Zauley (Ciaran Beades).
