My favorite cookbook: This book will not disappoint any one who enjoys good food. The recipes are easy. The ingredient are easy to find and the dishes tastes great and look like the pictures in the book! I carry this book everywhere I go and the recipes are so easy that I can just pull the book out of my bookbag and take it in the grocery store with me. I give it to friends who enjoy cooking as gifts. Not one recipe has turned out bad. Every time I use a recipe from Chef Puck's book, people comment on how I should open a restaurant! The recipes are also fun. I figure if I purchase a recipe book and there is one recipe I adopt, I consider it a good cookbook. This book has paid for itself over and over. It's great.
Mostly encores: If you do not own any other Puck cookbooks, you will find this book useful and it does contain some good recipes. If, like me, you own several of his other books, there is not enough original material to make the book worth buying.
Great first Puck book: This was my first Puck book and I am very impressed. Easy recipes - except for the pressure cooker - still haven't found one yet...
Good, but not for me.: I own several Wolfgang Puck appliances and for the most part I love everyone of them. So, I decided to buy this cookbook. When I got it I was disappointed to see how thin it was, and I felt the recipes were rather simple...well for me anyway. I was looking for something that would teach me how to do something new and I didn't feel this was it, so I returned it.
Excellent: Wonderful, flavorful recipes!!!! Easy instructions and they come out great. Make sure to use good ingredients as that is key to any great dish!!!
