Great book:
My two older children (age 7 and 5) really love this book. Most of the experiments in the book include things that you commonly find in your kitchen. The experiments are pretty easy for them to do with minor adult supervision and the book does a good job explaining the science behind the experiments. This has really helped get my kids interested in science. I've just purchased a copy for my 6-year-old nephew for a Christmas gift.
