Disappointing:
The cover and title were enticing but, it's been printed on matte paper which makes it look unprofessional and the photos unclear. The title is deceptive, there is no exploring of techniques. However, you will find a book full of creative examples of mixed-media artwork with supply lists and brief instructions.

Projects and Techniques:
This is one of the best books to buy if you are looking to learn new techniques and projects in the mixed media art field. There are step by step instructions to do so many wonderful projects. This gets a gold star. Exploring the Latest Trends in Mixed Media Arts: Projects & Techniques-Volume I

Best project book yet:
Unlike many of the mixed-media books out there this book is chock full of beautiful and fun projects. Projects that you can create with many of the supplies you already have on hand too. And the projects are high quality, beautiful items that you will be proud to display or sell. This book will keep me busy far into next year, I hope to have many of these pieces completed before the authors publish the next volume!

Not up to my expectations:
This technique book fell short of expectations. I am a mixed media artist and am on the constant outlook for new trends and techniques. This book really didn't offer anything "new". I have seen most of the techniques in other publications. The second thing that fell short were the photographs of the art work. A lot of them were too dark, or distorted, and didn't really display the finished pieces well. That was really disappointing. Honestly, there are other technique books out there that are much better with great photos and the same techniques. Nothing really new here.

A Must Have for the Mixed Media Artist!:
This is one of the best technique resources for beginning or experienced mixed media artists! It is well photographed, and has very detailed instructions. It is very easy to follow each project and provides a wealth of information and tips. Two thumbs up to the authors!! I can't wait for the next volume.
