The Ultimate Secret to Getting Absolutely Everything You ... (ISBN 1589804864)

A different angle at making Law of Attract. more effective:
Many of the reviewers who gave a low rating might have read the principles from a more limiting perspective, and I can see how that might happen. If most of the material that they had read before this one was based more on pragmatic everyday goal-setting advice, they may miss the metaphysical implications, which is totally understandable After reading this book over three years ago, and then reading material on Quantum Physics, and its connection with our Mind, as well as the effects of thoughts and emotionalized focus on the actual physical manifestation of things, I think I got the message on the second read. I loved not only Hernacki's personal story, but also the way he presented the concepts of how you can easily block the outpicturing of your goals by having a hesitant, or worse, attitude relating to taking steps toward the goal. If I could sum up the reason why I mention in my listmania list why this is unusual among metaphysical books, it's in the way he instructs how to avoid projecting mental blockers into the Universe (which affect physical reality). These blockages are caused by you picturing in your mind possible painful steps you think you might have to take toward your objective, and then putting your foot down refusing to do that one possibly painful thing. The Law of Attraction is neutral, and pays attention to any hesitant energy. If you emotionally agree to yourself that you are - body, mind, and soul - willing to do *anything*, you most likely won't have to do *most of the work* toward your goal. It's a paradox. It's worth reading the book to elaborate for you what I'm summarizing here. He includes quotes by Emerson, and the really good quote by Goethe (Providence moves with you when you show boldness), to help support his points.

Now You Know the Secret!:
I'm not being completely snide when I say this book would probably be most interesting to those who get their financial advice from Suze Orman, their view of history from Joseph Campbell and their religious training from Deepak Chopra. For once, I'd like one of these people with the "answer to everything" to be more than a motivational speaker or writer (why not trying curing cancer?). I can't imagine why he hasn't shown up on a PBS special (or did I miss him?). On the plus side, he at least makes his book somewhat enjoyable and it's probably not a completely waste of time to read the book and find some inspiration.

Worth it!!:
This book is worth it, simple, easy read, to the point. I loved it and highly recomend it.

Great Way to Get What You Want:
This easy to read and to follow book makes it easy to get what you want and create the life you love!

"The Ultimate Irony of the Ultimate Secret!":
This is positively, absolutely, ok, "posilutely," the best self-help book ever written, ever, and I love it and Mike Hernacki for writing it! I stumbled across (or was it Fate?)a copy of it about 25 years ago at a flea market in San Diego. Back then it was published as tiny blue-covered 3x5 inch booklet of just 30 pages which I still have and treasure. I paid 50 cents for it. I actually recall joking to myself at the time "Geez, "The Ultimate Secret," how can you go wrong for 50 cents?" I guess I just have a particularly thick skull because it has taken me just about all of those 25 years since then to finally put this amazingly effective wisdom to work. And the reason why is now clear to me. You see, wisdom, as perhaps you've heard, without action is not wisdom; it's just knowledge. And that was my problem: I understood the basic principle as knowledge, but I never actually believed in it enough to put it into action. Oh well, better late than never. Now that I've finally got the "you must take action" component down, my entire life is magically transforming in wonderfully serendipitous and synchronistic ways that I once would have off-handedly dismissed as silly Pollyanna fairy dust. Ok, that's my personal irony, and I'll have to live with it. But more broadly, judging from comments of those reviewers who voiced disappointment, there is yet another irony that I find truly fascinating because it reveals the source from which "The Ultimate Secret" ultimately derives its power and efficacy. And here is that empowering/disempowering irony: Whatever you truly and consistently believe to be true, is true. So it follows then that those people who come to this book with open minds devoid of prejudiced expectations are able to embrace its wisdom, and hopefully having more permeable skulls than my own, will act on its principles forthwith and thereby positively transform their lives with astonishing facility. Conversely, those who approach this book with prejudiced expectations will, perforce, quibble and carp over trivial details and thereby convince themselves that the wisdom is bogus, only to have thus transformed their negative belief into their negative reality; only to thus, however ironically, prove the very truth of the Ultimate Secret-those beliefs you 100% commit to without reservation become realities. Don't just read the reviews. Spend the couple of bucks and gift yourself with an actual hands-on copy that you can study, ponder, act upon and revere, and then one day lovingly bequeath to your favorite heir.
