Good, but different for U.S. School Libraries, & No Pics: Just started the book and looks good! However, the author repeatedly uses the term "teacher-librarian", while the fact is that "teacher-librarians" are used less and less in the U.S., except High School level. I am assuming that since the author is Canadian she simply didn't know this. In many states, such as mine, you find "library media paraprofessionals", "library assistants", etc. working totally independently in their schools. We do everything with a LOT of training, just for a lot less money. This is the wave of the future, nationally, with continued budget cuts. Some school districts are even going to 1/2 time library staff, the other 1/2 time is student or volunteer staffed. I would have like to have seen some PHOTOS of some of her projects, ideas, displays, etc. And how about some free or budget-friendly ideas, as some things in the book would be WAY out of our budget...
