I was very disappointed. I purchased this book for Christmas for my 4 year old nephew who loves knock-knock jokes and riddles. Amazon indicates that the book is for 4-8 year olds. It's really more appropriate for a much older audience. There are various learning exercises including putting words (like estuary, miserly, aquatic etc.) in alphabetical order on a grid to find an answer to a riddle, vocabulary lessons with words like "parody", filling in the missing letters within a sentence, and some mathematical questions ( divide the number of spaces between your toes by the number of nostrils in your nose...etc). For the most part the riddles and knock knock jokes are also for an older child. I'm hoping I can find at least one joke in the book that he thinks is funny.
