A Great Book for Kids AND Teachers:
I highly recommend this book. As a third grade teacher who does a unit on insects, I thought I had a lot of background knowledge. Apparently not! I learned SO much from this book. The writing is perfect for elementary aged children to read independently. The pictures add so much. Great book!!!!

Great book for curious kids:
This book is well researched, well written and provides lots of valuable information on bugs that serves both entertainment and educational purposes. The photographs are colorful and diverse--sure to captivate any kid with an interest in science or bugs!

Packed with fun facts and fantastic photos. Kids will love this book!:
This is a great little book for young children. All types of children would really enjoy this book because of its format and colorful photos. If they want to know lots of details, they can find them, or they can just focus on the entertaining facts about their favorite- or obscure- insects and other creepy-crawlers. The information is doled out in bite-size pieces in an easy-to-read format, and the photos are fantastic and eye-popping. With the growing inactivity in children's lives these days, it's nice to see a book that will get them outside and away from the television.
