La Bruja De Portobello (Spanish Edition) (ISBN 1933499567)

Wow. What a pleasure:
Paulo Coelho has a way of writing that is simplistic in it's words, but deep in meaning. "The Witch of Portobello" does not falter from this description. I have to say that when I began reading, I had to read, and re-read the first few segments. I didn't understand what the author was trying to do. But, once I found the rhythm of his words, it was all I could do to stop reading. This book touches on a woman outside the "normal realm" of society. She tries to find herself in different ways, and touches people in the process. This story is written from their prospective, and is a very different way of learning a story. Yet another great story from a wonderful writer.

Ok...:
Estoy un poco desepcionada con el libro... honestamente esperaba mas de Paulo Coelho. Todos los libros anteriores me han encantado pero este no se le falto entusiasmo, la manera en que esta escrita no me gusto y me tomo un poco de tiempo darle el interes. No tuve emocion en leerlo... so fue un libro ok... creo que es la manera en que esta escrita que le quita el interes, son relatos de todos los que conocieron a la bruja de Portobello (athena). Aun asi adoro a Coelho... y espero que escriba algo que me mate de emocion la proxima vez :P

Nothing new... Paulo got stuck on the Alchemist....:
I have read many books from Paulo Coelho, hopping for something new, but it seems like he has not been able to move on since he wrote The Alchemist. Every single book after that, points to the same esoteric or spiritual concept. It's basically a new story, with the same meaning between the lines. Once you have read one of his books, feel free to say I have read them all... That's all I can say.

Como siempre este Editor hizo una excelente produccion. Las entrevistas a todas las personas que conocieron a la Bruja de Portobello, parecian reales. Los felicito y recomiendo.

La Bruja de Portobello:
Me gusto mucho la manera que el autor presento la historia de Athena, la protagonista. Son sus allegados que nos la cuentan desde sus diferentes puntos de vista. Athena en busca de respuestas, nos lleva a conseguir algunas de nuestras propias preguntas. Es una lectura que cuando la comienzas, se hace dificil tener que dejarla, no deseas detenerte. Lecturas asi, son inspiradoras y nos abren un mundo diferente. Gracias a Paulo Coehlo!
