Design your own soccer ball with this simple kit. The kit includes a size five (regulation-size) all-weather soccer ball, a pump, a set of six paints (in red, blue, green, yellow, black, and white), a specially formulated paint medium to help the paints stick, and a couple of brushes. The process is simple: Pump up the ball and then paint the white sections in any color scheme. The instructions suggest using team or school colors and painting on names of friends or team members. Allow each part of the ball to dry for two to four hours before rotating the ball to paint the next part. Once the entire ball is painted, another 36 hours of drying time is required to ensure that the paint adheres well. Great gift!:
I gave about three of these as gifts and all the kids seemed very happy. The quality looked pretty good but since I do not have one for the long term hard to say.

not bad:
We had good luck with this ball. Ours inflated well, despite the fact that the pump was cheap and you had to be careful. We bought a kit similar to this in the past and the ball was a nerf, so this was much better. Our daughter had a fun time painting it like she wanted. The kids have used it as a soccer ball and the paint chips off. Our daughter used it for a project she had for school

This is a great and unique product to encourage creativity as well as physical fitness.

disappointed:
I rarely write a review for a product. Given I rely on the experience of others I figured I would take the time to write. My kids (ages 7 and 10) liked the ball and enjoyed painting it. My daughter spent a good deal of time creating some pictures and letters on the ball. She let it dry the 24 hours. However, when we kicked it around on the concrete floor of our basement..within about 10 kicks almost 80% of the paint and her designs had chipped off. She was really disappointed. SO a fun craft...but the painting does not last if you are going to use it for playing soccer.

Excellent Buy:
My daughter loved this soccer ball and was very excited that she can play with it too! The kit comes with everything needed, even the pump. I was very impressed. It takes a while for the paint to dry (about 45 min.) in order to paint the other side so make dure you start it when you have plenty of time.
