It lights up our nights...:
This light is truly convenient. It doesn't waste much electricity and my 2 young daughters are able to make a cup of hot chocolate without having to turn on the main light and disturbing our St. Bernard(who would then think it's time to play). The cord is long enough to reach a nearby outlet and you can easily replace the bulb and starter without having to purchase a whole new unit when the bulb burns out. It's truly useful.

Low quality (junk).:
It says made in the USA and that's a shame. You're more likely to be in the dark or electrocuted with this hunk of (junk). The light seems convenient for about the first ten minutes of use. Later, the cases pop open and transformer falls out, the trigger arcs sparks; The sockets never make contact; the bulbs flicker. 1 star is generous.

No complaints.:
For what I paid, I'd say this little fixture is well made. It does not come with any instructions or mounting hardware, but it's pretty simple to figure out. I am using it for desk lighting, and found it light enough to be securely fastened to the underside of my bookshelf with 2-sided tape only, saving the measuring (no template was included) and drilling.

Fixture doesn't last longer than bulb:
I put this fixture in my vending machines, 8 out of 10 fixtures die before the bulb. I am finding another manufacturer. Less than a year on average. This fixture is ****.

A New Light In the Kitchen:
The light I ordered for over my sink was to replace one by Lights of America that had lasted for many years. My only problem with the new light is that the cord is just a few inches shorter than the cord on the old light. The light was sent in a timely manner, and was as described. Thank you.
