Editorial Review: If you're 3 years old, and your main mission in life is to arrest all the Bad Guys, it's a shame not to have the transportation to catch up with them. The Tikes Patrol Police Car is the cruiser you need. Powered by your own two feet sticking through the floor, it's a serious blue machine with blue-and-red fake lights on the 36-inch-high white roof. Thirty-two inches long by 17 inches wide, it has one door that opens, a squeaky horn on the steering wheel, and a handheld radio unit with sound effects (requires two AA batteries, not included). The toy holds a maximum weight of 50 pounds. The car is all plastic, except for wheel struts and screws. Adult assembly is required. --Richard Farr
Very Fun: My son loves this car! It wasn't difficult to assemble. We have run it over gravel and in the grass and it has held up. It really has taken a beating and is still one of his favorites after 2 yrs!
Great toy: This Patrol car is loved by my grandchildren. Only problem is that the stickers that decorate the car don't last long.
Fun car for toddler: I had a bit of a hard time assembling the top part into the car frame, but with help I got it done. My son loves this car! He loves all the sounds that the control makes and he loves sitting in it pretending to drive. We took it outside, it rolled nicely and he even fell over in it, and didnt get hurt, neither did the car.
A present from the pacifier fairy: I bought these as a trade off for the my twins turning in their pacifiers (they are 27 months). They were always fascinated with police cars--so it was a big hit. There's a small place in the back that they can put things in. There's not really a place to rate usability on this review. I rated it 3 stars because their feet get stuck up under the car when they are trying to push themselves forward (or when going down hill). Hopefully they will get the hang of it. I think the sirens on top should light up...but maybe that's too much. It would be nice if the steering wheel was usable too, but overall they seem to get a kick out of them.
A Policemans Police Car: This was a gift for a 21 year old man. I gave this to him at his police academy graduation party. His favorite toy as a little boy was the little tikes cozy coupe. I couldn't believe my eyes when I found this. My son actually squeezed into it and was being pushed around the street ! I'm sure it will be used by my grandchildren "someday". If a group of 21 year old young men can have fun with this, I'm sure any little one would enjoy this too.
