Removes wrinkles but you will not get the ironed look:
This J-4000 steamer does remove the wrinkles but you will never end up with the same look as ironed clothes. Its such a big hassle to hang the clothes and then steam, it sure does take getting used to. Also you will want to take the wait time into consideration to steam your clothes, you need to fill up the tank with water, pre-heat and only then will you get the steam after a few minutes. I believe it is not worth the effort for what you get! You will always need your iron even though you have this.

Reading the directions is a must.And of course safety first around this type of equipment.Easy to start and does excellant job..

Practice and watch your hands:
Shopped quite sometime to find a steamer as I HATE ironing. This unit provides a great amount of steam. My cotton shirts turn out wrinkle free and my husbands heavy cotton shirts, including cotton duck jackets, look great too! I have used this on just about all types of fabric's with success. You know those roll up hems on jean shirts & others when worn untucked...gone! You have to watch your hands though and I think if you had something you could put behind the clothes you would get nice creases. I am just not sure I am going to pay for one of Jiffy's boards, I use my ironing board leaned up against a wall....aahahahaha Jiffy, lower your price! Lastly when you hear the gurgle, hold the steaming head above yours to clear the hose of built up moisture, this will prevent water spots on your clothes.

Great product, but if you're the average consumer...:
save yourself some time and hassle. Don't buy this jiffy. Buy the one for the average household user. This one does take a long time to steam clothes. It works great. I just wish I had bought the commercial grade one.

Finally a steamer that works!:
After purchasing and returning two steamers, I decided to go for the Jiffy Commercial Steamer. It does what I needed it to do. The drawback is that it does take considerably longer to heat up. But, it does the job. In fact, I decided to try it removing wallpaper, and it did that too. This is the steamer for me.
