shipping problem:
I am quite disappointed with Amazon with respect to this product. This was purchased through Amazon and shipped by Buy-it-now-store. After being charged for the merchandise I had to email amazon as to the whereabouts of my purchase only to be told that this item was available to ship to Hawaii. In the past I made a purchase for a replacement carafe and had to problem. Because of this I am not able to use the coffee maker. Is there another alternative as I am not able to purchase this locally.
Right Pot, Wrong Color:
The pot is fine, but the picture obviously shows black and Amazon sent me a white one. Either way it pours coffee. Had I ordered a car from Amazon, I'd be upset.
Just what I needed:
The carafe is a perfect replacement for the one I dropped in the sink. Fits the Braun coffeemaker perfectly. I do think the price is a bit high, though, for a replacement piece of glass.
Item not delivered:
I never received the item I ordered despite repeated attempts to contact Amazon and Buy-it-now-store. I will never order another item when Buy-it-now-store is the selected vendor.
