Not as regged as it should be:
I tried only few minutes and I did not like it for two reasons: 1) not rugged as it should be. Both the hopper and the body are very unstable. Hopper was broken when it arrived. 2) shredded leaf does not come down smoothly. Openings in the bottom are not well designed.

What I think of this leaf shredder:
I found this leaf shredder to be easy to assemble until I had to attach the barrel part with screws to the inside. I just couldn't figure how it went by the picture, and it was very awkward to reach those screw to screw them in! This took a long time. How did the product work: It worked so so. It shreds small bunches, and if you put in a lot, it gums it up and must be cleaned. You have to reach and pick up leaves and reach down and pick up leaves. It took a long time to do the big bundles I have on my property. Some went through unshredded. I did in the end have a lot of mulch. So it works on a limited basis. Those nylon cords are already fraying, so probably I'll replace next season. I have put it under plastic for the season and will see if it rusts or anything like that.

I was very pleased with this item. It arrived just three days after purchasing with standard shipping. It is lightweight and easy to use. Make sure you wear goggles and a mask while shredding as it is a dusty, dirty job. I put pre-shredded leaves in and ones directly from the pile in and it shredded great either way.

This product was more than I expected...we have used it constantly this fall mulching leaves to go in our garden... it is a great little yard machine to have on hand to reduce the mounds of leaves we have..
