It's easy to see why Fiestaware dishes, like this tall cappuccino mug, have been favorites for decades. The stylish art deco lines and saturated colors are enhanced by the strength of vitrified china and a nonporous, 100 percent lead-free glaze. Like other Fiesta pieces, this mug features attractive concentric rings on the foot and body. The rim is flared and thick for comfort, and the tidy swoop of the handle has a fun look. Enhancing the mood of an afternoon java break, coffee-inspired images in relief encircle the body. The mug is available in a wide range of Fiesta colors for spirited mixing and matching. Nice size, sturdy, lovely glaze!:
Fiesta ware is such a fantastic bargain I can't believe everyone doesn't use it! My only suggestion for folks looking to purchase this or the larger cappuccino/java mug is that, if you wash dishes by hand as we do, you have a bottle brush on hand, as the inside flares out a wee bit at the very bottom (right above where the base is) and it could otherwise trap coffee stains and the like. This is a minor issue, however; it hasn't stopped us from buying more.

Extremely versatile for even COLD beverages!:
I have quite a few of these great mugs and love them! I don't use them for hot beverages at all but use them for everyday cold beverages....tea, water, soda etc. They are very solid and live up to a lot of abuse. Fully vitrified, you can use these in the microwave, freezer and fridge as well as in the dishwasher. You will get a lot of use out of these mugs as they are so versatile. The handles on the mug are sturdy and hold quite nicely. These are also great gifts and great introductions to the Fiesta line for your friends and family. These are a great value and will last for many years. Don't hesitate to get a set!
Beautiful and Useful:
These (4 scarlet) turned out to be exactly what I was searching for! They arrived today, well before the promised date. I'm using them for beer mugs (don't hate - ha!). I'm sure we'll use 'em for coffees and stuff when winter comes. The scarlet is "brilliant red" and beautiful. I even ordered the 20 oz one, even though it only came in persimmon. I wish they still had scarlett in the 20 ouncer. I want to thank everyone who "reviewed" these, because we really pay attention to what you guys say. Especially Alesia, who pointed out the need for a brush to wash the very bottom interior rim, which we would have never noticed, I'm sure! Thanks Mega China and Amazon. Well done! I'll be comin' back for more!
